Hey all – Becky mentioned this before, but she found a neat site – http://www.graphicriver.net – that you can get logos from.
She put together this Jing for a client. This is a great resource for your clients who need help with logos – http://screencast.com/t/KBp8Mehk
We are now charging our STWP clients $50 for each theme – NOT $39.
Unless they choose a theme outside our normal choices, charge them $50 as an expense in LGED.
Our standing is to tell the client that they are responsible for translating their website. If they do not want to do this, we can talk about contracting this out – BUT we would prefer that they are in charge of it.
The terms of service & privacy policy will be in english.
Hey all,
Below is a list of sites we have created. Becky wants us to have this list in case you want examples of how we’ve done things for other clients, and you can, as needed, send a couple of sample sites to your client, to show them how they can do their banner, put their picture on their site, create their footer, do their home page layout, etc.

Hi all – I wouldn’t necessarily send this list to clients. We already have our /template-options page for clients to see what we can do, and we’ll add other sites to that list as we go.
I want to be careful of what sites we send out. We recently had a prospect call one of our clients (who shall remain unnamed), because they saw his site on our site, and he bad-mouthed us to the prospect. Said that we charged him to answer the gazillion emails he sent each week (gasp!). Those of you who have interacted with this client has used the word “mean” to describe him 🙂 So, you can guess who it is.
I want you to have this list in case you want examples of how we’ve done things for other clients, and you can, as needed, send a couple of sample sites to your client, to show them how they can do their banner, put their picture on their site, create their footer, do their home page layout, etc.
Let me know if any questions.
Good to know! Thanks for this list; it is super helpful!

Hello PCs!
I put together a word version of the STWP Process Template from LGED. I figured it would be a great resource for new and old PCs to have in a hard copy, rather than only accessible in LGED.
Here it is: STWP Template – 4.10.14
Any feedback is welcomed 🙂
Hey all! Below is the agenda for this week’s meeting. Please advise on what you would like the focus topic to be this week.
1. Positive Focus
2. Introduction to Strategy Circle
3. Hot/Pressing Topics & Stumbling Blocks
4. Focus Topic
5. Any launches that happened recently
Hi Meagan, Do the writers attend these meetings?
Hey @davina-van-buren! Writers do not attend this meeting! Thank you for asking 🙂
Meagan
Ideas:
A better process for handing off clients to new PC’s
Ways for the PC to get a better connection with the client prior to Kickoff meetings (i.e. If Becky spoke with them in the past, it would be helpful for a PC to know what they talked about, and what advice Becky gave them about their site/project/etc – some clients are getting frustrated bc they think the PC should know what Becky told them, and also know the advice Becky has given them already). It seems like the kickoff form and the MA aren’t enough, especially if the client has talked to Becky in the past.
Getting content consistent: Jane says pages should be 700-1000 words for google, Becky says 500 words for google. When two different things are being said, we should know which to be clear and concise.
