Just learned about a site that has neat logos that you can buy and make modifications to them. For mods, you can send to someone on fiverr (or even Julia) to change colors or title and tagline.

A little info on Spam Mail…
It can come from two places. Comment spam (if they have comments activated on their blog) or Contact form spam. In either place (or both) we can add a captcha to slow down the bots. It won’t eliminate it totally, as some of the bots can figure out the captchas, but if that keeps happening to enough extent that the therapist is fed up, we can even do more sophisticated captchas that the bots haven’t’ figured out how to break yet. There are so many little things like this that we can do that we could easily add another $500 to each therapist’s site in labor. So, I’d rather they ask for it when they’re sick of the spam. The good news about getting spam (if they didn’t’ used to) is you can tell them it’s proof that they’re now more visible!

Post on sending out newsletters with Mail Poet – Becky demoing this process — sending a newsletter in less than 5 minutes. http://www.counselingwise.com/monthly-newsletters-in-5-minutes-or-less/
Heard this is a great photo editing tool. Supposedly really easy. I have not used it so can’t vouch, but thought I’d pass it on.
Hello peeps,
Becky asked me to add this to the P2. Another way to check exact dimensions of a slider or placeholder photo on a site is to use Jing. Click the image button and slide the crosshatch over the photo. In the bottom right corner of the box should be the exact dimensions of that photo in pixels. I use this to determine what photo size to purchase for my clients. I think on most of our websites the width of the slider is 960px, so I always choose photos with a width that is just a tad bigger so I know they won’t stretch.
Hope that helps.
