  UPDATE: Theme’s Cost $50 for Clients now! 

  We are now charging our STWP clients $50 for each theme – NOT $39.

  Unless they choose a theme outside our normal choices, charge them $50 as an expense in LGED.

  Charging STWP Clients for Themes 

  For STWP clients that didn’t sign up during November, do we automatically charge them for the theme? And if we already have the theme (canvas for example) we charge them $39, correct? If not, we purchase the theme and charge the client for it.

    For those on the official waiting list, we should give them the bonus, IF they got on the waiting list prior to that Tuesday — November 5th.

    For all others, yes, charge cost of theme if we don’t have full use of it, and if we already have license to use on a bunch of sites, charge $39.

  Finding, Buying and Installing WordPress themes 

  How to find themes

  1. Search in google for “responsive wordpress themes” and add modifier (such as color, industry, mood, etc
  2. Go to Elegantthemes.com — we have a membership
  3. Find a WordPress site you like and identify the theme they’re using (video: http://screencast.com/t/bxG6fVSMDO20)

  How to buy it

  1. If it’s in Elegant themes, login with our userid (Username: page1pros
     Password: iengoy6o) and download it.  We pay a quarterly fee to belong to this.  CHARGE the client the retail amount by entering the price in LGED as an EXPENSE.
  2. If not Elegant themes, then buy it with the Page1pros paypal account or with the P!P credit card. CHARGE the client the amount we paid by entering the price in LGED as an EXPENSE.

  Installing it

  Once you purchase and download, either upload the file to LGED for the developer, or send the email with the download link to the developer to install.

    http://themeforest.net/ may be a good starting point too for wp themes and code chunks/plugins 😀
