We are now charging our STWP clients $50 for each theme – NOT $39.
Unless they choose a theme outside our normal choices, charge them $50 as an expense in LGED.

Our standing is to tell the client that they are responsible for translating their website. If they do not want to do this, we can talk about contracting this out – BUT we would prefer that they are in charge of it.

hi all,
becky asked i post my upcoming May, June, July, August schedule for all to see and to marvel at. it is very exciting.
MAYi will not be working on:Friday May 16 (friend from NY is in town)Monday AND Tuesday May 26 & 27 (memorial day and the day after memorial day)Wednesday, Thursday, Friday – May 28,29, 30
I will have limited time and that means i will be working but have the kids home for part of the day so I will be online mostly in the evening –JUNEI will be working in June regular hours. There are a few Fridays that I am going camping so will be limited but will let you know.JULYMondays and Fridays I will have limited hours – spending time with my kids. I will be working mostly in the evening time.Tuesday, Wed, Thursday – I will be working regular hoursAUGUSTThe first week, Aug 1 – Aug 7th, I will be limited – and will be able to work some time in the daytime but mostly at night.The second week Aug 8 – Aug 16 I am away in Durango. I will be online but limited in hours.

Checking photo size with Jing
Hello peeps,
Becky asked me to add this to the P2. Another way to check exact dimensions of a slider or placeholder photo on a site is to use Jing. Click the image button and slide the crosshatch over the photo. In the bottom right corner of the box should be the exact dimensions of that photo in pixels. I use this to determine what photo size to purchase for my clients. I think on most of our websites the width of the slider is 960px, so I always choose photos with a width that is just a tad bigger so I know they won’t stretch.

This was an issue that was brought up in our last meeting–> How to edit homepage meta on a homepage that is not actually a page with content, but rather populated by excerpts from the specialty pages. I already showed this to Jessie who is probably the only one that really needs to worry about this since she does SEO, but yea.. here is a Jing.
