Comments about Spam

A little info on Spam Mail…

It can come from two places. Comment spam (if they have comments activated on their blog) or Contact form spam. In either place (or both) we can add a captcha to slow down the bots. It won’t eliminate it totally, as some of the bots can figure out the captchas, but if that keeps happening to enough extent that the therapist is fed up, we can even do more sophisticated captchas that the bots haven’t’ figured out how to break yet. There are so many little things like this that we can do that we could easily add another $500 to each therapist’s site in labor. So, I’d rather they ask for it when they’re sick of the spam. The good news about getting spam (if they didn’t’ used to) is you can tell them it’s proof that they’re now more visible!
